Mascarade in a Red Blazer
Happy Halloween!!! Who else loves Halloween?! I'll admit it's not my favorite Holiday...I'm much more into Thanksgiving and Christmas most likely due to the delicious food we consume on those days and of course being with family. But this year I'm spending Halloween on a cruise ship which is a first for me. The crew has some fun activities in store for the 31st, one being a haunted hallway in the crew area which should be fun! So in preparation for all the ship parties and festivities I thought I'd add a little drama to this weeks outfit with a mascarade mask. I'm bringing back the 90's with this shoulder pad high fashion blazer. I saw it at Zara and loved how dramatic and fierce the color and design was so I paired it with some skinny faux leather pants, heavy jeweled earrings and the cutest bag from Aldo.
Style Tip: Quick Tip! When wearing something this bold (the blazer) be sure to pair it with accessories/pants that make it stand out. You don't want to overload your outfit with too much extra stuff. Let your statement piece stand out and pair accessories that tell a story and compliment your outfit rather than trying too hard and doing too much.
The 411: I bought this "Amour" bag from Aldo's clearance shelf so I couldn't find it online but I've paired some worthy embroidered contenders below that would go perfect with this outfit! I especially like the military olive green/black cross body bag!
