My Fair Lady

The two R's that describe my style best are Retro and Romantic. And this outfit captures that second R to a T! I'm a sucker for all things floral, especially floral pastels. The combo of the two is the icing on the cake for me. Julia Engel (my favorite fashion blogger) was one of the first bloggers to put this dress out there on Instagram and then we all followed suit because why wouldn't you encourage people to check out this darling maxi? The material is well worth the price, it's thick and flows so beautifully below the waist. Something to know, this dress fits large. I'm wearing a size 8 here but it was a little looser than I prefered in the bust so I went back to Macy's and got a size 6.  Sale Tip: If you pick up in store you will save an extra 20% off your purchase so keep that in mind!

BIG SALE TODAY: Today this dress is $99 at Macy's in both this ivory color and the botanical teal. Originally $168. Lastly save $10 by using PROMO CODE: WOW25 since this is a clearance item.

Right now wicker and straw bags are all the rage. One of my favorite brands for those romantic outings is Sea and Grass. They have a range of larger wicker bags to smaller cross body bags like this one here. They are a little high in price for my budget but a percentage of their profits helps educate as well as provide essential income for women in Thailand which is a great cause to be contributing too. I also haven't found a company like it! Their bags are so unique and there's nothing I've seen that compares to the structure and aestheic.

Outfit Details: I bought this dress at the free people section at Macy's. It also comes in two other colors, black and teal botanical. My bag is from Seagrass Totes and necklace from Loft.
